Marcus and Sextus left out of the field with Eucleides and were going with one of the two of the servants to their home. Suddenly, Eucleides said to the boys, “Don’t you wish to go to the public baths?”
Having heard this, the boys were very glad. Soon, they entered the changing room, because now the boys, who were full out of games left with the tutor himself, who will come. There they will take off their clothes. Marcus, who had taken off his clothes said, “Now let us go out of the exercise ground.” But Eucleides said, “No indeed!” . Your father ordered me to take you back before the ninth hour.” Then the other servant, whose name was Asellus said, “Stay here! For, here I am being accustomed to many thieves who steal clothes to sell it in the city.”
To whom Asellus responded. I always guard the clothing diligently. No one can steal the clothes with them being guarded by me.
